2010 Australian Mountain Bike National Championships
Adelaide Will host the 2010 Australian Mountain Bike National Championships at the purpose built Eagle Mountain Bike Park.
You will see Downhill, 4X, Olympic and short Course Cross Country along with Trials and Dirt Jumps and pump track.
All this should keep you busy from the 12th-17th of Jan 2010

Adelaide will host the Mountain Bike Australia National Championships for a three year term from the 13th January 2010 through to the 17th. This will occur back to back with the world famous Tour Down Under.
The event is held in the purpose built Eagle Mountain Bike Park with the village nestled in an amphitheatre of trails. The event will host 6 different disciplines of mountain bike competition being Downhill, Olympic cross country, 4X, Short course cross country and Trials. On top of this there will be a return of the large contingent of local and non local Dirt Jumpers throwing it down right in the village giving. All these events are tightly scheduled and along with music and commentary piped around the park, the atmosphere will be electric.
Confirmed Riders include current World Cup Downhiller Series winner Sam Hill riding for Specialized, with SRAM and Monster Energy. Last year saw included Olympian Jared Graves and up and comers including Crank works 2009 Dual Slalom Junior winner Troy Brosnan and Perth rising start Mitch Delfs.
Cross country racing will feature most of Australia’s recent World MTB Championships Olympian Dan McConnell and highest placed Australian in the under 23 Women’s category, local hero, Terri Rhodes. The fast and furious Short Track racing will see much of the 4X track incorporated into the course.
